In June of 2009, I was invited to go on a trip with Nicole and her students. She was taking a number of students from Oakland Aviation High School where she taught and she needed a chaperone. Given that I had never left North America before, I was more than happy to go. Nicole pretty much did all the fundraising and coordinating for this trip, with a little help from the students, their parents, myself, and OAHS.

During the trip a bunch of us took photos and video so I am compiling it here for everyone's viewing enjoyment. The four students that went along with Nicole and I were Toyeen, Brian, Sasha, and Ariel.

I recommend you first watch the reunion video first. I believe it is the best representation of our trip. It is 23 minutes long but has music, photos, and video that was taken on the trip.
